So, after not having checked facebook in a while, I received a message from my friend who I call "Boss". He recently came back from Iraq for a month and proposed to his girl friend :) He left a message on my wall saying that he'd come by LA and wanted to meet me :D I'm so stoked! ZOMG Finally! I'd get to meet BOSS!!! This is a wonderful day! :D Time to get in contact with him!
Also, I think I'll buy them a small gift for when I meet them :D The two of them are coming down from Oregon to Phoenix, Arizona and will be passing by California on their way down. :) They also are bringing their daughter, or Boss's new daughter, so I will also buy something for her :) I believe she likes bunnies... so something small and cuddly would be good :) Today is a great day! :D

Windows + Defrag
After browsing slickdeals yesterday, I saw an offer for a free defrag program. Vista is said to always defrag the computer every once in a while but I found that to be a negative... So, I took up this offer and installed it. There was the program, the free license... and all I needed to do was click the start button. IT WORKS! It's working so hard right now that it says the estimated time before it is done is 1 Day and 5 hours...
I'm now doing stuff on my desktop instead of my laptop... I don't want to mess with my laptop while it is defragging... :'( My poor baby's gonna be idle for a day... But that's ok :) I'm learning new designing methods from going through some random photoshop tutorials :D Photoshop... ahh... so pretty... and fun! :\ But after this flare of excitement is gone... I'll be BORED :(

Another Long Day
As my previous post stated... I ended up spending most of the night editing my friend's essay for his fellowship. Gladly... I finished but ended up having to sleep into the afternoon.
I thought I was going to be able to rest the remainder of the day... but I was quite wrong... My family came back shortly and told me to get dressed. We were headed for the car dealers to watch my sister go through paper work. I swear... I am not going to enjoy going through all that paper work when I finally decide to purchase a car... :) Would be an awesome thing tho... don't get me wrong! :D A new car's a new car! There's nothing bad about it! Well... except maybe the costs and paper work... But you get the point...
After the car dealers...Next stop! Triple A Insurance paper work!!! It was already dark by the time the paper work was finally finished ... Since we were out in the middle of San Gabriel, my parents decided to go have dinner at a nearby Chinese Harbor Restaurant to celebrate my sister's birthday. Boy... that place was well decorated... but it lacked the customers that one would see in a "busy" and "popular" restaurant...
Like everything else that happens to me... something goes wrong... After having a few bites of the food... I began having a very sharp pain in my stomach... It was very discomforting and caused me to have very little for dinner... T_T... Sighs... I technically passed out in the car on the way home. It was not until around 9 or so when the pain finally subsided.
T_T I've been known in my family to have a very weak stomach... Also, Beatrice mentioned that maybe I was having an allergic reaction to something...but then again... I was not swelling or having any rashes... just a sharp pain in my stomach.

Ideas and Misunderstandings
Randomness:
Sometimes what you want to express isn't always understood by the other party. You might want time away from the other, but the other will see it as you disliking them. Or at other times... you might want to tell them how precious they are, but the other misses the point. To have someone that understands you completely is an amazing bond. There are very few that are like that, always understanding the other party, knowing what they will do. It might be creepy, but if you think about it... the other will always anticipate what you want, and be there by your side. Because you wanted them there.
Day:
Woke up to the autoshop and car dealers... Not something I'd find to be pleasant, but it had its way til around noon. In which I returned to my chamber and slumbered away on Berny :D as my pillow :D (BEST THING EVER).
Then, I realized I had to help a friend review his paper for a fellowship. Although his paper was legible and understandable, it was difficult to put a word on how exactly to edit or make suggestions. There wasn't anything wrong with the paper, but at the sametime... the paper felt like it needed to be changed slightly. But how? I am currently still working on it... but... I will get it done to the best of my ability. After I had a lovely Haagen-Dazs ice cream bar ^_^

A day with a detective
Went to the Glendale Galleria today to watch Sherlock Holmes. From what I know about the movie, it sounded like it would be a complete comedy since Robert Downey Jr was Holmes. To my surprise, Robert Downey Jr was also capable of being a very serious actor. The movie was FANTASTIC! and GREAT! I also have a new reason for saying, "Don't worry... I'm a doctor!" I'd definitely recommend people to watch the movie!
Funny thing is that the movie is 2.25 hours long, so I had to measure how to ration the popcorn and soda. I didn't want to go midway through the movie to take a restroom break, so I drank sparingly and ate rapidly. :) Was a success!!!
After the fantastic movie, I went to Barnes and Noble... and there they had it... Advanced Photoshop Collection Volume 4!!!! Holy crap!! :D HAPPY!!!! :P I left the mall realizing that all of the clearance clothes are for L, XL or XL customers... :( *Sad*
At night, I was so prepared to just be lazy and rest but... My friend who I was performing the one-hundred pushup and two-hundred situp challenge with said he was doing them. Right then... my competitive flame rekindled! Giving me the strength to compete and do them!!!!! I did them alright... exhausted indeed I am :D
Aside from my blag updates :) I've been working on my website :) You can ask me what the site is if you want to read about it ^_^

Christmas and After :)
Christmas:
The day did not start at 6 am or later, but began at 12:00 am midnight. I was waiting for the moment Christmas started :) to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and to open the gift I got from Beatrice :D To my amazement, it was the two volume set of "ROMANCE OF THREE KINGDOMS"! :D I am so thrilled!!!!!!! :D HEHEH! Charlotte says she has my gift in the mail :) so I will wait for that moment to get it and be wowed! :D hehe!
Christmas was not anything fancy, but was a rather quiet day. ^_^ It was very enjoyable! Except I learned never to let my sister cook food... : \ ever... it was quite... an unexpected treat... which rendered me aching in pain for a while...
I think on any occasion, to give people something is always better than receiving :) You can fill them with smiles ^_^ Like a bath towel with a big funny face :D or a small Domo-kun doll that can suck your blood! :) You feel great after you hear their reactions :D Gifts don't need to be big, or small. They don't need to be useful or useless. All that matters is the thought :) Merry Christmas! :D
Day after Christmas:
I woke up super early to deal with the autoshop. I should be getting it back monday. After dim sum with family, I returned and hugged my stuffed dog (Berny) to sleep. Yes... I gave the stuffed animal the name of Berny, short for Bernard. Because I'd like to get a saint bernard in the future.
At 7 pm, I was picked up by two of my friends from high school. We haven't seen each other in over 6 and a half years since high school. One currently works as a web designer at San Diego, and the other is going to Med School in San Fran. :) It was great seeing them again, and its amazing how none of us really changed. Still the same people from high school :) Ahh the memories... but the night had to end :) Today was a good day :D

A Simple Day?
Once again after not having updated my blag, I decided to once again restart what I had started.
Today was a simple day. I didn't sleep til around 6 am, and woke around 10 am to go get some shopping done. To my amazement :) I found a love-kun doll which I managed to bargain from 17 to 15 dollars. :D I'm learning very well the ways of bargaining! :D
The day was simple and enjoyable until I started working on my website. The design was completed in Photoshop and all was ready with the buttons and alignments and such. However... it was quite a task trying to figure out what things would work for FF AND IE together. Much frustration seemed to overtake me... and then my sister decided to offer me some red cranberry wine. Which I only wanted a little of... BUT she filled up the cup and laughed and left me to my own dire ways with this drink.
Let me tell you one thing... Alcohol and Frustration do NOT mix. I was starting to get more and more angry. But thanks to the "date rape" music that was given to me ;) I was able to calm down a great deal.
Then it came time to work on the one-hundred pushup challenge and two-hundred situp challenge. Unfortunately... I think I was still under the influence of alcohol as I was terribly weaker than I normally would be doing them. Darn you alcohol!!!! ... But I will try again tomorrow! :D
The origin of the name "Date Rape" music, comes from the fact that my friend manages to put me to sleep with his music when I'm over at his place. Soothing and works every time!
